Chinese Program Overview

The Chinese Program at Wake Forest University began in 1989 and has grown vigorously ever since. We offer eight semesters of Chinese language instruction and a variety of courses on cultural topics that are taught in English. Our dedicated professors work closely with students both in and out of the classroom.

For Incoming Students

New students with previous experience with Chinese in high school need to take a Chinese language placement test. For details, please read the information on foreign language placement
